Lille vs Lens Prediction and Tips: Result
Callum Reid prices Lille's home record against Lens's shaky away form before settling on his line in the result market.
The prediction is at the end of the analysis ↓Pricing Lille's home record
My rule before I look at a price: write down my own number first. Lille have not lost at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in their last four league games (two wins, two draws) and sit third in Ligue 1. Lens have won once and lost twice in their last four on the road, and sit seventh. On recent form alone, I make Lille roughly 45% to win this outright, the draw around 28%, and Lens around 27%.
The market's full-time price is Lille 2.38, the draw 3.45, Lens 2.75 - implied probabilities of roughly 42%, 29% and 36% once the overround is stripped out. That is close to my own number on the draw, but the market is pricing Lens higher than I think their away form supports, and pricing Lille a touch shorter than I'd like to back outright.
That gap is exactly where the handicap and double-chance markets earn their keep over the straight win. Rather than back Lille outright at a price I don't love, or take on the draw risk myself, draw no bet removes the one outcome I am least confident the market has right (a Lens win), while still getting paid if Lille win and getting the stake back if it finishes level. Lille draw no bet is priced at 1.71 here.
We have no confirmed team news for either side this far from kick-off, so this is built on recent patterns rather than the eventual team sheets. On the numbers, the pick is Lille draw no bet at 1.71, backed at 0.75 units.

Team news
No team news confirmed for either side yet at four days out. One preview site mentioned unconfirmed, seemingly dated injury doubts for two Lille players (a cruciate issue and a thigh problem) - we could not verify this against an official source, so it is not factored into the price here.
Lens have scored in every one of their last four away games, so draw no bet still loses if Lens find a way to win; this only protects against the draw, not against Lens's attack turning up.
Verdict
At 1.71, Lille draw no bet implies a 58.5% chance of a Lille win once a draw is excluded. Lille's unbeaten home record (2W-2D in their last four) supports backing them not to lose; stripping out the draw avoids betting into the one scoreline pattern (a 1-1 or 2-2 style draw) that has shown up twice in their last four home games.
