UEFA's match page confirms Patrik Kolarić of Croatia for Celtic Park, and his numbers are as consistent as any referee I have looked at this season. Transfermarkt lists nine matches in 2026/27: 39 yellow cards and two straight reds, 4.3 yellows a game. Match by match the yellow counts read 3, 5, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5 and 5. Not one game under three, seven of nine at four or more. Last season it was 157 yellows, five second yellows and two reds in 34 matches, 4.6 a game, with 80 yellows in 19 Croatian league games. Nine games clears my eight-game floor and last season points the same way.
The teams pull in opposite directions, and I will be honest about that. Sofascore has Celtic on 10.0 fouls and 1.0 yellow cards a game in the Premiership, with no red in six matches. Ferencváros are the other side of the coin: 17.2 fouls and 1.8 yellows a game in Hungary. A visiting side that fouls that often, defending against a home team with 62% possession, gives a referee like Kolarić plenty to work with.
Unibet go over 3.5 at 1.53 and over 4.5 at 2.08. Kolarić's own record makes four-plus about a 70-75% proposition; I trim that to 70% for Celtic's clean domestic numbers. The 3.5 line is the sensible one. The 4.5 line at 2.08 is closer to fair.

Team news
Transfermarkt lists Alistair Johnston (leg, since 10 August) and Kasper Høgh (thigh) as Celtic's injured players, with no suspensions. No confirmed absentee list for Ferencváros was found in the sources checked at the time of writing.
Celtic are on one yellow a game domestically and dominate the ball at home, so their share of the count could be a single card. If Ferencváros sit deep and foul early rather than late, three cards is a real outcome and that loses at this price.

Implied probability is 65.4% at 1.53. Kolarić's record puts four or more cards at roughly 70-75% and I settle on 70% after allowing for Celtic's clean domestic numbers. The edge is real but the price is short, so 0.5 units.
